Anatomy of the lymphatic system of brain tissues and membranes

The lecture highlights a historic event in neuroscience dedicated to the discovery of invisible lymphatic vessels in the meninges of the brain and the destruction of a bicentennial dogma that the brain is a privileged organ without an immune system. The lecture presents video and interactive materials on the anatomy of the meninges of the brain and spinal cord, including the meningeal lymphatic vessels of humans and rodents. For the first time in the world, pioneering results on the representation of lymphatic vessels in human brain tissues are presented. This discovery, made by Russian scientists, is a breakthrough in neuroscience, changing the mentality of scientists and scientific concepts about cleansing brain tissues from toxins and metabolites.
